OUR B&B
One of the oldest buildings in the hamlet of Casale, it is characterized on the outside by doors, steps and arches all made from stone.
The place has just been tastefully restored, taking into account the farming traditions and maintaining even the smallest of details; the remains of the hearth, the wooden ceiling, the terracotta flooring, the numerous niches on the internal walls, the thresholds and window ledges made from ardesia or sandstone and the blocks of stone .
You reach the large, bright bedrooms by a wooden and ardesia staircase some of which can hold up to 4 or 5 beds and all of which have their own private bathrooms.
On the second floor there are 2 terraces: one is communal and our guests are invited to enjoy the sun all day long here or the fresh evening air, with the view over the river, the village and the spectacular countryside. The second terrace however belongs to one of the bedrooms.
On the main wall apart from a strange “relief”, there’s the statue of St. Bernard in a sacred niche with an ancient meridian sign underneath.
